Frequently asked questions

Is the Travel Set suitable for air travel?
All components are approved for hand luggage. However, the use of power banks during the flight is not permitted by aviation regulations. Therefore, the cool box cannot be powered on board. For air travel, we recommend the MediCooler medical cool bags: they operate passively, require no power or ventilation, and are therefore the better choice on board.

Does my medication fit in the cooler?
The internal dimensions are 180 x 65 x 40 mm. Suitable for multiple insulin pens, growth hormones, or similar packaging.

How long does it take to charge the power bank?
The Xtorm 67W power bank is fully charged in approximately 2 hours via USB-C. The power bank then provides 12 hours of additional cooling, on top of the 6 hours of internal battery life of the LifeinaBox.

Can I also use the power bank for other devices?
Yes, the Xtorm power bank has multiple connections and is also suitable for charging phones, tablets, and laptops.

What does the Lifeina Standard do?
The stand lifts the cool box off the surface, which improves air circulation and optimizes cooling performance. Handy in the car, camper, or hotel room.
