Who is medicooler?

When Medicooler processes your personal data, Medicooler is the controller.

We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are obliged to provide your name and e-mail address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to explain your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. HOW DOES MEDICOOLER OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Medicooler has data about you because you have provided that data to us.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation you have a number of rights with regard to your data and its processing:
INSPECTION
You can always view and, if necessary, change your own (personal) data in your account. If you want to see the personal data that Medicooler has recorded about you, you can submit a request for access.
CHANGE
If you want to make changes to the personal data that you have seen as a result of a request for access and that you cannot change yourself in your account, you can submit a request to Medicooler. You can request that Medicooler changes, improves, supplements, deletes or shields your data.
RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING
You also have the right, under certain conditions, to request Medicooler to limit the processing of your personal data.
RIGHT OF BEZWAAR
If a certain processing takes place on the basis of the 'legitimate interest' of Medicooler or a third party, you have the right to object to that processing.
DATA TRANSFER
You have the right to obtain your personal data from Medicooler. Medicooler will provide this in a structured and common form, which can be easily opened in other common digital systems. In this way you can also transfer your data to another provider.
WITHDRAW CONSENT
In all cases where the basis for a certain data processing is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This has no consequences for the past, but does mean that we are no longer allowed to process that data. It is possible that Medicooler can no longer provide you with certain services as a result.
RESPONSE BY MEDICOOLER
A request can be sent to info@medicooler.nl. Medicooler will honor your request as soon as possible and in any case no later than one (1) month after Medicooler has received such a request. If Medicooler rejects your request, we will indicate in our response why the request is rejected.
RECIPIENTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA
The data can be passed on to:
- Parties involved in the execution or compliance of an agreement between you and Medicooler
Medicooler may be required to provide your data to a third party, for example on the basis of a legal obligation.
TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
For (for example) technical and operational reasons, it may be necessary to transfer your (personal) data to companies affiliated with Medicooler outside the European Economic Area. Because the regulations in the field of privacy protection may not offer the same protection as within the European Economic Area, Medicooler will use the Privacy Shield or the EU Model Clauses to protect your privacy as much as possible. If this is not possible, Medicooler will ask your permission to transfer your (personal) data to countries without an adequate level of protection. You can withdraw this permission at any time.
WHAT ARE COOKIES AND HOW DOES MEDICOOLER USE THEM?
Cookies are small pieces of (text) information that are sent to your browser when you visit the Medicooler website and are then stored on the hard drive or in the memory of your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device (hereinafter: “Device”). The cookies placed via the Medicooler website cannot damage your Device or the files stored on it. When we talk about 'cookies', we do not only mean these small pieces of (text) information, but also comparable techniques with which information is collected, such as device fingerprinting.
