MediCooler supports national RS virus vaccination campaign

A national vaccination campaign against the RS virus will begin in the Netherlands in September. This virus can cause serious respiratory infections in young babies and is one of the leading causes of hospitalizations among children worldwide. The RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment), together with municipal health services (GGDs) and youth health organizations, is ensuring that all babies in the Netherlands have the opportunity to be protected.

Vaccines safely at temperature

An essential requirement for administering vaccines is that they are continuously stored between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. Only then can their efficacy be guaranteed. This poses a challenge when vaccines are not only administered in clinics but also need to be available during home visits.

This is where MediCooler comes in. We supply cool bags specifically designed for the safe transport of medications and vaccines. Our solutions ensure that healthcare professionals can be confident that vaccines always remain within the required temperature range during transport.

To the front door

Thanks to this approach, municipal health services (GGDs) and youth health organizations can literally bring the vaccines right to families' doorsteps. This makes it easier for parents to have their babies vaccinated, without having to travel to a vaccination center.
